Dr. Xavier P. Ordonez, F.A.A.O.
Dr. Xavier P. Ordonez is a graduate of the State University of New York, College of Optometry. In 1997, he completed his residency training in Low Vision and Ocular Disease. In 1999, Dr. Ordonez completed his fellowship and is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is also a member of the California Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He has also published various research papers in the field of Optometry. Dr. Ordonez is state certified to diagnose and treat Glaucoma. He is also involved with The Lions Club, so please donate your old glasses.
Dr. Ordonez interest in Optometry began in college where he was doing research at the Sheie Eye Institute in Philadelphia. His interest in eyecare and research lead to a doctorate degree in Optometry in 1996. After completing his residency in New York, Dr. Ordonez found true love and followed his heart to California where he has been happily married for 20 years. You will find many of Dr. Ordonez’s certificates and diplomas on the exam room walls. However, his greatest accomplishments you will find are the pictures of his twin boys and his lovely daughter.
